Case Studies to Learn From...

A Day Early and $160,000 Cheaper...

Our client had 98 GB of ESI to be processed in a short amount of time. The attorney had already delivered the data to one of the largest and most well known national eDiscovery vendors. That vendor could not complete the project within their tight turnaround. The Litigation Support Team at the firm recommended our services to the attorney. The project was pulled and even with a delay in receiving the data through the initial vendor we completed the project flawlessly and ahead of schedule. After the project was completed, we were informed our invoice was $160K less expensive than that vendor’s original price quote!

Saving the Day While Saving Time and Money...

Our client had 250 GB of ESI to review and produce in a very limited amount of time. Because the review and production needed to happen in waves and loading was going to have to occur 24 hours a day, we were enlisted to not only process and deliver the data, but to also perform the loading and exporting from Summation. We were provided with Citrix remote access and a building security key card. For the duration of the project we delivered hard drives back and forth, loaded data 24X7 and processed all the necessary production documents. To this day, we still provide remote services to this firm during peak times. We have also engaged with other firms to provide the same services. Another way we save the day and save our clients money! We still came in at a fraction of what our competitors would have charged.

Equivio: Cutting Costs/Creating a Competitive Advantage...

A major international IP law firm was faced with an unruly database. Opposing counsel threw everything but the kitchen sink at them and depositions were rapidly approaching. To cut overall review costs and meet the tight deadline, we provided our client with Equivio's Near Duplication detection. In the end, 60% of the documents were lumped into similar groups and did not have to be reviewed prior to the depositions. Another potentially dirty discovery disaster foiled!

Coding: Reaching Out For One More Price Quote Helps a Major Chicago Firm Save Thousands...

We received a benign email from another client that basically read: “You won’t get this project, but out of curiosity what would you charge to code domestically? Our attorney is co-counsel so we have absolutely no say about what vendor we use, but, he was just wondering if he was being over-charged?” We responded in a helpful and informative way and ended up winning the coding of 250,000 documents. Our pricing was so drastically lower. We under-cut the lowest bid by over 40% - resulting in a $25,000 savings!
